This structure is a waste composter and it was built at the FCUL university in Lisbon. It was built in 11 days with the support of Horta FCUL volunteers.
Its structure is made of wood and the filling of walls is made of an ecologic concrete made of clay and straw. This allows a natural breathing of walls and cross ventilation of the structure, maintaining the optimal humidity levels and temperature regulation.
